The Voices of Triumph Gospel Community Choir (Voices) of the Mid Ohio Valley in partnership with WVU Parkersburg is sponsoring a workshop entitled "Removing the Confusion of Gospel Music". The workshop will be held Saturday Nov. 14, 2009 from 9 am - 12 pm at the college.
The workshop is open to anyone interested in the actual history of gospel music, diction, articulation, intonation, range, dynamics and a call and response selection. It will also help to nuture your spirituality.
Donnie Gresby, a retired educator and musician from Charleston will facilitate. There is a registration fee of $7.00, which will be used to cover the cost of materials. All are welcome.
